1000 Hourly / 6 Monthly Hydraulic Return Filter, Breather & Strainer Maintenance
WARNING! Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin
NOTE! Park the lift truck level with the forks lowered, parking brake engaged, transmission in NEUTRAL and the engine stopped
Loosen the bolts of the hydraulic tank top plate assembly
Remove the return filter from tank top plate assembly
Install new return filter by hand
Remove the suction strainer from the tank
Install the new strainer by hand
Install the tank top plate assembly and fasten the bolts
Remove and discard the air breather
10 Hourly / 1 Daily Hydraulic Oil Level Check
WARNING: At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the filter cap only when the engine is stopped, and the cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the filter cap slowly to relieve pressure.
Operate the lift truck for a few minutes to warm the oil
Park the lift truck on a level surface, with the forks lowered, mast tilted back, parking brake engaged, transmission in NEUTRAL and the engine stopped
Raise the hood and seat assembly
Make sure the air lift cylinder securely holds the hood open
Remove the dip stick/filter cap
Maintain the oil level to the FULL mark on the dip stick/filter cap
Sign off on the hydraulic oil level check
100 Hourly / 1 Weekly Engine Oil Check
CAUTION! The engine oil in a new engine becomes contaminated from the initial break-in of internal parts. It is very important that the initial oil and filter change is performed as scheduled
NOTE! The oil drain plug may be in another location if an optional oil pan is used
Check that the engine is at level position
Start and warm up the engine to operating temperature
Stop the engine and wait for 5~10 minutes
Pull out the oil level gauge (dip stick) upward
Wipe the scale of the oil level gauge with a clean cloth
Insert the oil level gauge into the coil level check hole
Pull out the oil level gauge again to check the oil level
Fuel System Maintenance
Warning: This procedure should be performed by trained personnel only.
Engine priming completed at factory
Fuel system drained and refueled
Fuel filter and other parts replaced
Water drained from oil-water separator
Approved container placed under the air bleed port
Air bleed port plug loosened
Hand pump pressed until oil comes out
All fuel hoses connected
10 Hourly / 1 Daily Engine Exhuast Leak Inspection
Start the engine and allow it to reach operating temperatures
Perform visual inspection of exhaust system
Repair any/all leaks found
Sign off on the engine exhaust leak inspection
