Dematic Conveyor 8300 SBS

Check belts for signs of wear or damage (tearing, fraying). Replace as necessary

Check belts for build up of debris (dirt, dust etc), clean as necessary

Visually check belts for correct alignment (tracking) and tension. Adjust the tension or tracking of the belt as necessary

Visually inspect emergency stop switch(s) and other components for damage

Correct any problems immediately

Verify cable pull switches have proper tension and re-tension if necessary

Activate emergency stop switch(s) to verify proper operation of the switch and latching mechanism

Correct any problems immediately every 1 Month

Sign off on the emergency stop devices inspection

If conveyor is not in operation, report the issues to the maintenance team and stop the procedure

Loose or miss-tracking belts found?

General cleanliness satisfactory?

Noisy bearings, sprockets, sheaves, motors/reducers, and other vibrations found?

All safety guards secured in place?

Sign off on the daily system inspection

Check rollers for build up of debris (dirt, dust etc), clean as necessary

Inspect the rollers for dents, bending, or warping. Replace any rollers that show these signs of damage

Upload a photo of the inspected rollers

Sign off on the roller inspection

Inspect mounting hardware for tightness

Inspect cable connections for tightness

Examine enclosure for dirt or moisture

Check operation of emergency stop system to include switches

Check operation of indicator beacons for proper operation
