Pull out the outdoor temperature thermistor.

Remove the 4 screws of the right side panel.

Fan Motor and Outdoor Fan Removal

Check mark

Remove the shield plate.

Check mark

Disconnect the connector [S70] (fan motor).

Check mark

Release the clamp from the partition plate.

Check mark

Release the fan motor lead wire from the groove and the 2 hooks of the partition plate.

Check mark

Remove the nut and remove the outdoor fan. (Nut size: M6)

Check mark

Remove the 2 screws of the fan motor fixing frame.

PCB Removal

Ensure all power supplies are turned off for at least 10 minutes before starting disassembly.

Main PCB Removal

Check mark

Remove the main PCB [S12] for [HL4] [HN4] on filter.

Check mark

Disconnect the PCB connector [S12] and pull out the clamp.

Check mark

Disconnect the connector [S10] for [S11] on filter PCB.

Check mark

Pull out the clamp. When reassembling, insert the clamp as below.

Disconnect the connectors [HN3] [HL3] for [HL2] and [HN2] on filter PCB.

Check mark

Pull out the clamp. When reassembling, insert the clamp as below.

Outer Panel Removal

Warning: Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Remove the 4 screws and remove the top panel.

Check mark

Remove the 4 screws and remove the discharge grille.

Check mark

Take care not to cut your finger by the fins of the outdoor heat exchanger.

Check mark

Slide the discharge grille upward and remove it.

Check mark

Check the number of hooks on the discharge grille.

Check mark

Remove the 6 screws of the front panel.

Check mark

Unfasten the 2 right side hooks.

Check mark

Unfasten the 3 left side hooks and remove the front panel.
