Enter the saturated refrigerant temperature

Calculate the approach temperature (subtract saturated refrigerant temperature from leaving water temperature)

Note: Benchmark readings should be taken during startup and then periodically afterward.

Enter the condenser pressure drop

Is the approach increase two-degrees or more?

If yes, excessive tube fouling could be present.

Are heaters energized when power is available to the control circuit?

Examine Contactors (hardware and operation)

Verify Overload Setting and Trip

Test Electrical Connections (Infrared temp measurement)

Sign off on the air compressor starter maintenance

Clean Oil Cooler Strainer (water)

Oil filter change and compressor teardown and inspection should be done based on the results of the annual oil test performed by a company specializing in this type of test.

Sign off on the lubrication system maintenance

At every inspection, the oil, suction, and discharge pressures should be noted and recorded, as well as condenser and chiller water temperatures.

The suction line temperature at the compressor should be taken at least once a month.
