Remove the screw and slightly push the partition plate (1) to the left for easy work

The design of the sound blankets varies depending on the model. The sound blanket is fragile. Carefully pass the discharge pipe through it. Since the piping ports are torn easily, remove the sound blanket carefully.

Outer Panel Removal

Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Remove the suction grille by unfastening the 5 hooks.

Check mark

Remove the top panel by removing the 8 screws and lifting it.

Check mark

Remove the right side panel by removing the 5 screws and sliding it downward to unfasten the 2 hooks on the rear side.

Remove the front panel (2) by removing the 2 screws and sliding it downward to unfasten the hook.

Remove the front panel (1) by removing the 4 screws on the discharge grille, unfastening the 2 hooks at the top, removing the nut and the outdoor fan, and removing the 5 screws.

Remove the rear panel by removing the screw on the partition plate (2), unfastening the hook and removing the partition plate (2), removing the 3 screws on the wire fixture, removing the wire fixture and the insulation, removing the 7 screws of the terminal board and earth / ground wires, detaching the connecting wire and the power supply wire, releasing the holder and harness of the outdoor temperature thermistor, and removing the 5 screws.

Fan Motor Removal

Remove the 2 lower screws first.

Check mark

Then, remove the 2 upper screws.

Check mark

Be sure to remove the lower screws first. If the top screws are removed first, the fan motor may tilt down or fall and cause injury because its center of gravity is shifted to the front.

Remove the fan motor.

When reassembling, make sure that the wire harness is facing downward.

PCB Removal

Remove the cover of the electrical box. Release the 4 hooks. The hooks are indicated by W.

Disconnect the connectors [S52] [S102] from the service monitor PCB. [S52], [S102]: to main PCB

Detach the 4 clamps with pliers and remove the service monitor PCB.

Remove the screws of the terminal board and the earth / ground wire.

Unfasten the hook on the right.

Open the terminal board.

Check mark

Disconnect the harnesses. 1: Black 2: White 3: Red L1: Black L2: Brown N1: White N2: Blue

Disconnect the 2 harnesses for the reactor [HR1] [HR2]. [HR1]: White [HR2]: Blue The harness for [HR2] has a ferrite core.

Electrical Box Removal

Remove the screw on the stop valve mounting plate.

Check mark

Remove the screw on the partition plate (1).

Check mark

Remove the 2 screws to detach the earth / ground wires.

Disconnect the connector [S70].

Release the fan motor lead wire from the 5 hooks.

Check mark

+: When reassembling, do not use these 2 hooks.

Check mark

Disconnect the connectors of the front side.
