IMPORTANT: Due to the zeotropic nature of R-410A, it should be charged as a liquid.

In situations where vapor is normally charged into a system, a valve should be installed in the charging line to flash the liquid to vapor while charging.

Make certain that the recycle or recovery equipment used is designed for R-410A.

NOTE: Because a water source heat pump operates under a wide range of water and air temperatures, the values printed below are to be taken as suggested pressure and temperatures.

All Daikin water source heat pumps are designed for commercial use.

The units are designed for the cooling mode of operation and fail safe to cooling.

The reversing valve is energized for the heating mode of operation.

Warning: R-410A should be used only with polyester (POE) oil

The HFC refrigerant components in R-410A will not be compatible with mineral oil or alkylbenzene lubricants

Sign off on the air system lubrication

Can light be seen through the filter when held up to sunlight or a bright light?

If light cannot be seen through the filter, it should be changed.

Enter the number of days since the last filter change

Warning: Handle the sensor with care to avoid damage.

Unscrew the filter from the probe successfully

Rinse the filter under warm water until clean

Replace the filter by screwing it back into the probe

Did the filter screw all the way into the probe?

Enter the Daikin part number if the filter was replaced

Sign off on the filter cleaning

Prior to first operation of any conditioner, the water circulating system must be cleaned and flushed of all construction dirt and debris

If the conditioners are equipped with water shutoff valves, either electric or pressure operated, the supply and return run-outs must be connected together at each conditioner location

Fill the system at the city water makeup connection with all air vents open

After filling, close all air vents

The contractor should start main circulator with the pressure reducing valve open

Check vents in sequence to bleed off any trapped air, ensuring circulation through all components of the system

While circulating water, the contractor should check and repair any leaks in the piping

Drains at the lowest point(s) in the system should be opened for initial flush and blowdown, making sure city water fill valves are set to make up water at the same rate
