The coil with the outside air flowing over it has been inspected?

The coil has been cleaned to keep the finned areas free of lint, hair and debris?

Any air blowing or water rinsing has been performed from inside-out (opposite operating airflow direction) to prevent damage to the tube & fin coil?

Sign off on the outside coil inspection

Check if the application requires a different frequency of replacement of dirty filters.

Ensure filters are replaced at least every three (3) months during operating seasons.

Check if dirty filters are the cause of inadequate heating or cooling performance.

Ensure dirty throwaway filters are discarded and replaced with a new, clean filter.

Check if disposable return air filters are supplied with this unit. Refer to the unit Specification Sheet or Technical Manual for the correct size and part number.

1. The supply fan motors, the condenser fan motors and compressors are permanently lubricated

1. Use a fine grade automotive wax on the cabinet finish to maintain the finish’s original high luster. This is especially important in installations with extended periods of direct sunlight

MicroChannel Heat Exchangers (MCHE) Maintenance

NOTE! During periods when the MCHE is not operated for longer than a week, the MCHE must be completely cleaned following the cleaning procedure. This practice must also be performed during short shut-down periods where corrosive deposits accumulate on the MCHE

Remove surface dirt, leaves, fibers, etc. with a vacuum cleaner (preferably with a brush or other soft attachment rather than a metal tube), compressed air blown from the inside out, and/or a soft bristle (not wire!) brush. Do not impact or scrape the coil with the vacuum tube, air nozzle, etc

STEP 2: Rinse! Rinse the coil by following procedure

1. Rinse the coil by approved MCHE cleaner first, or rinsing by water directly
