Front Panel Cleaning
CAUTION: When removing or attaching the front panel, use a robust and stable stool and watch your steps carefully
CAUTION: When removing or attaching the front panel, support the panel securely with hand to prevent it from falling
CAUTION: After cleaning, make sure that the front panel is securely fixed
Is the front panel bothered by dirt?
If the front panel is dirty, proceed with the following steps
Did you hold the front panel by the panel tabs on the 2 sides and open it?
Did you press the front panel at both sides and the center to close it?
Did you remove the front panel by sliding it to either the left or right and pulling it toward you?
Did you clean the front panel by wiping it with a soft cloth soaked in water?
Air Conditioner Cleaning
CAUTION: Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation and turn off the circuit breaker
Do not touch the aluminum fins of the indoor unit. If you touch those parts, this may cause an injury
Is the operation stopped and circuit breaker turned off?
Is the indoor unit clean?
Is the outdoor unit clean?
Is the remote controller clean?
For cleaning, do not use the materials as follows: Hot water above 40°C, Benzine, gasoline, thinner, other volatile oils, Polishing compound, Scrubbing brushes, other hard stuff
Sign off on the air conditioner cleaning
2 Weekly Air Filter Cleaning
Warning: Do not touch the aluminum fins by bare hand at the time of dismounting or mounting the filter
Open the front panel
Pull out the air filters
Clean the air filters with water or vacuum cleaner
If the dust does not come off easily:
Wash the air filters with neutral detergent thinned with lukewarm water
Dry the air filters in the shade
Remove the titanium apatite photocatalytic air-purifying filter
Set the filters as they were and close the front panel
6 Monthly Air-Purifying Filter Maintenance
Warning: The method of cleaning and replacement of the filters may differ depending on the model. Refer to the label attached to the separately sold filters themselves.

4 claws unhooked from the recessed parts of the frame
Titanium apatite photocatalytic air-purifying filter taken off
Filter vacuumed or replaced
If dirt is heavy, filter soaked in lukewarm water or water for about 10 to 15 minutes
After washing, remaining water shaken off and filter dried in the shade
If replacing, tabs on the filter frame removed and replaced with a new filter
Old filter disposed of as non-flammable waste
Air Conditioner Check
Check that the base, stand and other fittings of the outdoor unit are not decayed or corroded
Check that nothing blocks the air inlets and the outlets of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit
Check that the drain comes smoothly out of the drain hose during COOL or DRY operation
If no drain water is seen, is water leaking from the indoor unit?
Before a long idle period
Operate the FAN only for several hours on a nice day to dry out the inside
After operation stops, turn off the breaker for the room air conditioner
Clean the air filters and set them again
Take out batteries from the remote controller
