Disconnect the brewer from the power source

Disconnect the three wires from the selector switch

Remove the switch mounting nut from the under side of component mounting bracket; remove switch from bracket

Install new switch in component mounting bracket and secure with mounting nut

Sign off on the switch replacement

Disconnect the brewer from the power source

Disconnect the white and white/blue wires from the refill valve. Set the 'ON/OFF' switch in the 'ON' upper position

Voltage across the coil wires after connecting the brewer to the power source

Disconnect the brewer from the power source

If voltage is not present as described, check brewer wiring harness

Continuity across the refill valve coil terminals

If continuity is not present as described, replace the refill valve

Check the refill valve for coil action. Connect the brewer to the power source. With 'ON/OFF' switch in the 'ON' upper position press start switch and listen carefully in the vicinity of the refill valve for a 'clicking' sound as the coil magnet attracts

Warning: Ensure the brewer is unplugged before starting the procedure

Black and blue wires removed from limit thermostat terminals

Limit thermostat slid out from under the retaining clip

New limit thermostat slid into the retaining clip

Sign off on the thermostat replacement

Warning: Disconnect the brewer from the power source before starting the test

Disconnect the white and blue wires from the selector switch

Check for continuity between the two empty terminals of the switch with the selector switch in the 120V position

If continuity is present as described, reconnect the white wire and continue to Step 3. If not, replace the voltage selector switch

With the selector switch in the 120/208-240V position, disconnect the white/violet wire from the selector switch

Check for continuity between the two empty terminals

If continuity is present as described, the voltage selector switch is operating properly. If not, replace the voltage selector switch

Sign off on the voltage selector switch test

Remove the top cover or top warmer housing and front access panel

Disconnect the vent hose from the top of the tank

Disconnect the water supply tube to the dispense valve from the side of the tank

Disconnect the water supply tube to the solenoid valve from the bottom of the tank

On brewers with faucet, disconnect the outlet water line to the faucet from the side of the tank

Disconnect the temperature probe from the top of the tank

Disconnect the pink wire from the level probe

Disconnect the green wire from the top of the tank
