Ventilation openings and switch levers clean and free of foreign matter.

Lower guard and all moving parts are functioning properly.

Care of Blades: Blades can become dull from regular use. Signs of a dull blade include forcing the saw forward instead of guiding it through the cut.

Saw unplugged before cleaning the blade.

Gum and wood pitch removed from the blade using kerosene or a similar solvent.

Blades not sharpened unless experienced.

Warning: Preventive maintenance should only be performed by a Bosch Factory Service Center or Authorized Bosch Service Station to avoid misplacement of internal wires and components that could cause hazards. Unauthorized maintenance is not recommended.

Warning: Belt replacement requires special tools. Take the saw to an authorized Bosch Service Center to avoid injury.

Sign off on the drive belt inspection
