WARNING! Before removing oil filler plug, ensure that the pressure is released by opening an air outlet valve

Is the unit standing level with engine stopped?

Does the pointer of the oil level gauge (OLG) register in the upper extremity of the green range?

Is it necessary to add oil via the oil fill plug (FP)?

Sign off on the daily compressor oil level check

WARNING! Never mix oils of different brands or types

NOTE! Consult also the Engine Operation Manual for the oil specifications, viscosity recommendations and oil change intervals

Check engine oil level according to the instructions in the Engine Operation Manual

Did you top up with oil if necessary?

Empty Air filter vacuator valves

Check Air intake vacuum indicators

Check for spillage free, drain water out of frame

Check General conditions (leaks, damaged parts, loose bolts, trouble in previous operation)

Check During operation (meters and lamps, noise, colour exhaust fumes)

Sign off on the daily portable compressor service

Warning: New elements must be inspected for tears or punctures before installation. Discard the element if damaged.

In heavy duty applications, it is recommended to install a safety cartridge (part no.: 2914 9311 00).

A dirty safety cartridge indicates a malfunctioning air filter element. Replace both in this case. The safety cartridge cannot be cleaned.

Release the snap clips and remove the dust trap. Is the trap clean?

Remove the element and the safety cartridge. Are they in good condition?

Reassemble in reverse order of dismantling. Is the vacuator valve pointing down?

Inspect and tighten all air intake connections. Are they secure?

Sign off on the air filter element replacement

1. Keep the battery clean and dry

- Keep the electrolyte level at 10 to 15 mm above the plates or at the indicated level; top up with distilled water only

- Keep the terminals and clamps tight, clean, and lightly covered petroleum jelly;
