10000 Hourly / 2 Yearly Stationary Air Compressor Maintenance
Compressor element fan cleaned?
Compressor element fins cleaned and seals replaced?
Pin crank bearings greased?
2500 Hourly / 1 Yearly V-Belt Inspection
Loosen motor hold-down bolts
Loosen the belt tension by screwing bolts equally and take out the belts
Install new belts in the grooves of the pulleys
Tension the belts by screwing bolts equally
The tension is correct if the deflection is between 5 mm and 7 mm when exerting a force of 25 N on the belt midway between the pulleys
Make sure that the pulleys remain aligned
The maximum out-of-line is - maximum parallel out-of-line: 0.5 mm - maximum angular out-of-line: 0.5 degrees
Tighten bolts
NOTE! Check the belt tension after the first 500 running hours
5000 Hourly / 1 Yearly Air Filter Replacement
Stop the compressor
Remove the filter cover and filter
Clean the cover, if necessary
Discard damaged filters
Fit a new filter and reinstall the cover
NOTE! Inspect ball valve mechanism of condensate trap every 5000 Hours / 1 Year
NOTE! Replace V-belt(s) every 5000 Hours / 1 Year
NOTE! Grease orbiting scroll bearing every 5000 Hours / 2 Year
Sign off on the air filter replacement
Cooler Cleaning
Warning: Always wear protective gear while cleaning the coolers.
Are the coolers free of dirt?
If not, proceed with the following steps.
Was the dirt removed using a fibre brush?
Never use a wire brush or metal objects.
Was the cooler cleaned by air jet in reverse direction of normal flow?
Is it necessary to wash the coolers with a cleansing agent?
If yes, consult Atlas Copco.
Sign off on the cooler cleaning
