4000 Hourly Air Filter Element Change
Warning: Never remove the element while the compressor is running
For minimum compressor down-time, replace the dirty element by a new one
Discard the element when damaged
Compressor stopped
Voltage switched off
Air filter cover removed by turning it anti-clockwise
Filter element removed
Cover cleaned
Filter element discarded
4000 Hourly Oil Change
Compressor warmed up
Compressor stopped and emergency stop button pressed
Air outlet valve closed
Manual drain valves opened
Compressor depressurized
Oil filler plug unscrewed one turn
Vent plug removed
Oil drained and collected
Drain plugs fitted and tightened after draining
4000 Hourly Stationary Air Compressor Maintenance
Maintenance Procedure
Change oil and oil filter every 1000 Hours if Mineral oil is used
Pressure reading
Temperature reading
LED/display test
Check for possible air or oil leakage
Remove, dismantle and clean float valve of condensate trap
Check blow-off solenoid valve (Y1) after stopping and pressing the emergency stop button
Test temperature shut-down function
4000 Hourly Safety Valve Testing
Warning: Only trained personnel should perform this test
Safety valve cap unscrewed one or two turns and retightened
Safety valve tested on a separate compressed air line
Enter the pressure at which the valve opened
If the valve does not open at the pressure specified in section 7.2, consult Atlas Copco. No adjustments are allowed
Sign off on the safety valve test
4000 Hourly Drive Motor Bearing Greasing
Warning: Use only KLÜBERQUIET BOH 72 - 102 grease. Quantity: 24 g per bearing.
Did you order the correct type of grease from Atlas Copco?
Did you loosen the palm grip, lift the nozzle and turn it 90 degrees clockwise?
Did you tighten the palm grip?
Did you run the Regreasing program from the Test submenu on the regulator?
After the regreasing program finished, did you loosen the palm grip, lift the nozzle and turn it back into its original position?
Did you tighten the palm grip?
Did the compressor run for 30 minutes at minimum speed during the Regreasing program?
Was the compressed air blown off via the solenoid valve?
