Check air filter service indicator

Check that condensate is discharged during operation

Air filter pads of converter cabinet replaced

Float valve of condensate trap cleaned

Temperature shut-down function tested

Scavenging line and the non-return valve inspected for cleanness

Operation of cooling fans of converter checked

Warning: Ensure the motor is switched off and disconnected from power source before cleaning

Is the outside of the electric motor clean?

Is dust removal with a brush necessary?

Is dust removal with compressed air jet necessary?

Motor bearings do not require specific maintenance.

The bearing at the non-drive end side is greased for life.

The bearing at the drive end side is lubricated by the compressor oil circuit.

Check if the bearing at the drive end side is lubricated by the compressor oil circuit.

Sign off on the motor greasing maintenance.

Operate the safety valve by unscrewing the cap one or two turns and retighten it

Before removing the valve, depressurize the compressor. See section Problem solving

Valve (SV) can be tested on a separate air line

If the valve does not open at the set pressure specified on the valve, it needs to be replaced. Consult Atlas Copco
