Oil-injected Rotary Screw Compressor Maintenance
Operation of sensors, electrical interlockings and components checked
Temperature shut-down switch tested
Air receiver inspected
Is the wall thickness of the air receiver less than the minimum value specified in the technical documentation?
If yes, the air receiver must no longer be used and must be replaced.
Sign off on the compressor maintenance
4000 Hourly Air Filter Replacement
Compressor stopped and air outlet valve closed
Voltage switched off
Front panel and top panel of the compressor housing removed
Filter cover (AF) unscrewed and filter element removed
Air filter element discarded
New element fitted and filter cover screwed on
Top and front panels refitted
Enter the current hour meter reading of the compressor
Inspect the air filter. Clean if necessary every 500 Hours
1 Daily Oil Level Check
Run the compressor until warm
Stop the compressor, close the air outlet valve and switch off the voltage
Depressurize the air receiver by opening drain valve
Open the front panel
Depressurize the compressor by unscrewing filler plug one turn to permit any pressure in the system to escape. Remove the plug after the system is depressurized
Wait 5 minutes for the foam in the oil collector to disappear
Check the oil level through the sight-glass. If the oil level is lower than the minimum level, add oil until the maximum level is reached
Never mix oils of different brands or types. A label, indicating the type of oil filled ex-factory, is attached on the air receiver/oil tank
Before carrying out any operation on the machine, ensure that the electric power supply has been disconnected and that the machine has been depressurized

Warning: Always stop the compressor and switch off the voltage before starting the cleaning process.
