Clean the hydraulic compactor if dirt adhering to the tool impedes visual checksof theparts (hoses, rubber isolators etc.)

NOTICE! Environmental damage due to polluted water

Hydraulic oil and cutter grease are environmentally harmful and must not penetrate the ground or enter the water table or water supplies

Collect the water used for cleaning if it has been contaminated by hydraulic oil and cutter grease

Dispose of the water in accordance with the applicable regulations to avoid environmental hazards

♦ Deposit the hydraulic compactor on level ground

♦ Secure the carrier such that it cannot move unexpectedly

Safety Notice: Motor oil is environmentally harmful and must not penetrate the ground or enter water table or water supplies. Observe all Safety and environmental protection provisions when handling motor oil.

Timber support blocks placed on an oil pan?

Hydraulic compactor positioned on timber support blocks?

Containers filled with motor oil secured to prevent toppling over?

Air breather valve (A) and drain plug with seal (B) removed from rotor housing?

Rotor housing tipped and rested on its side to drain oil?

Rotor housing restored to its upright position?

Drain plug and seal (B) fitted back in the rotor housing?

Carrier secured and cannot move unexpectedly

Visual inspection of all lines from the pump to the hydraulic attachment and back to the tank performed

Loose bolted connections and hose clamps tightened to the required torque

Damaged pipes and/or hoses replaced

Sign off on the hydraulic line check

Check that the pipe clamps on the carrier are tight

Check the rubber isolators for cracks

Tighten the screw connections every day

NOTE! Replace the oil filter cartridges after the first 50 operating hours

NOTE! Check the oil filter and replace as required every 500 Hours

Check the adapter plate bolts for wear;
