Isolate the filter from the air net

Depressurize the filter by turning the connection nipple of the automatic drain valve counterclockwise or by opening the manual drain valve

Unscrew the bowl. A whistling noise will warn you if the bowl is not fully depressurized. If this occurs, the bowl should be screwed back and the venting should be repeated

Remove the drain valve by unscrewing the retaining nut underneath the bowl

Remove the O-ring from the bowl and clean the bowl. Position a new O-ring on the bowl

Remove the O-ring from the drain valve and position a new O-ring on the drain valve. The latter is supplied with each new filter kit

Reinstall the drain valve in the bowl using the retaining nut

Reposition the new filter element with the 2 new O-rings

Check the sight glass for liquid level

If liquid level is present, automatic drain valve may be malfunctioning

Check if cleaning corrects the automatic drain valve malfunction

If cleaning does not correct the malfunction, replace the automatic drain valve

Open the manual drain valve at regular intervals to evacuate collected dust or liquid

If an automatic drain valve is installed, manual draining can be carried out by turning the connection nipple of the automatic drain valve counterclockwise
