Air Filter Maintenance
Replace the air filter if visibly dirty
Is the correct filter part number used as per Table 2?
Evaporator Coil Maintenance
Turn off electrical power before cleaning the evaporator coil
Clean the evaporator coil by vacuuming or using a commercial evaporator cleaning spray
Ensure the unit is fully dried before restoring power
Condenser Coil Maintenance
Turn off electrical power before cleaning the condenser coil
Cooling Cycle Check
Pre-Start Checks
Has the crankcase heater been energized for at least 24 hours?
Verify all electrical connections before applying power
Initial Start-Up
Is the cooling set point temperature higher than the ambient temperature?
Is the heating set point temperature lower than the ambient temperature?
Set the thermostat system switch to AUTO position
Is the time delay in the electrical control box set to three minutes?
Check and reset the changeover setting of the enthalpy or dry bulb sensor (economizer-equipped models only)
