Replace the air filter if visibly dirty

Is the air filter in place after replacement?

Turn off electrical power before cleaning the evaporator coil

Clean the evaporator coil by vacuuming or using a commercial evaporator cleaning spray

Ensure the unit is fully dried before restoring power

Turn off electrical power before cleaning the condenser coil

Ensure crankcase heater has been energized for at least 24 hours before starting.

Double-check all electrical connections before applying power.

Check for proper rotation of scroll compressors running on 3-phase power.

Set cooling set point temperature on the wall thermostat higher than ambient temperature.

Set heating set point temperature on the wall thermostat lower than ambient temperature.

Set thermostat system switch to AUTO position.

Set heating set point temperature above ambient temperature

Did the fan and electric heat cycle on immediately?

Move system switch to OFF position

Economizer Check (if applicable)
