Pre-maintenance Safety Precautions

Ensure only authorized or trained personnel perform the maintenance

De-energize the EVSE for maintenance activities as per section '9.3. Total de-energization of the EVSE'

Check the display functionality

Check the display touch functionality

Check the status LED strip functionality (if present)

Check the meter display functionality (if present)

Visual Inspection on External Parts

Inspect the external parts of the EVSE for any damage or issues

Are there any obstacles (animals, insects, leaves, etc.) reducing the heat exchanging capacity of the EVSE?

Ensure only authorized or trained personnel perform operations inside the EVSE

Refer to section '9.3. Total de-energization of the EVSE' to de-energize the EVSE for maintenance activities

Routine Maintenance and Component Replacement

Schedule component replacement to guarantee continuity of operation

Contact ABB E-mobility for more information on available Service Level Agreements

Ensure only authorized or trained personnel perform the operation

De-energize the EVSE for maintenance activities

Inspect external parts of the EVSE for any visible damage or wear

Use cleaning agent with pH value between 6 and 8

Avoid using abrasive tools during cleaning

Do not apply high-pressure water jets

Are you authorized or trained personnel to perform this maintenance?

Have you completed the dedicated course by ABB E-mobility?

Is the activity not included in the Service Level Agreement (SLA)?
