Place the foot valve in a graduated container with a volume of 1000ml or more

Start the pump to exhaust all air from the suction line and head

Stop the pump and refill the graduated container to a starting level

Record the time the pump is turned on

Enter the number of strokes (minimum 120)

Stop the pump after the measured time
