1 Monthly Open Gear Racks Maintenance
- All lubrication instructions are based on an average of 2000 operating hours per year.
- All open gear racks must be cleaned and lubricated monthly.
Caution!
Never mix different oil-types or oil-brands.
These lubricants are recommended and used at delivery:

All above mentioned lubricants can be purchased at Voortman (see "Voortman Parts and Consumables" on page 3).;
1 Weekly Hydraulic Oil Level Check
Warning: Make sure the hydraulic unit is depressurized before maintenance. Pressurized oil can cause severe injuries.
Caution: Make sure no contamination enters the hydraulic tank.
Check the oil level weekly. Refill if necessary.
Stop the machine
Remove the filler cap.
Refill the unit with the correct type of oil and check the level on the gauge.
Close the filler cap.
Remove any spilled oil.
Sign off on the hydraulic oil level check
2000 Hourly Hydraulic Oil And Filter Replacement
Warning: Be prepared to catch an amount of oil.
It is possible the oil level decreased during bleeding. Refill if necessary.
Stop the machine
Set the Main power switch on the electrical cabinet to 'OFF' [0] and lock the switch if required.
Remove the filler cap.
Open the drain valve at the bottom side of the tank and drain the oil.
Replace the filter element.
Refill the tank with new oil.
Bleed the system until it is free of air (smooth actuator operation).
2 Weekly Machine Lubrication
Use Voortman Ordernr. 002-0787 Lubrication Oil
Lubricate Robot manipulator linear guidance (Spindle nut 2X), 1 nipple/spindle nut
Lubricate Robot manipulator linear guidance (Spindle bearing), 1 nipple/bearing
Lubricate Measuring wheels (Spindle nut 1X), 1 nipple/spindle nut
Sign off on the machine lubrication
