Is there an oil film under the lip?

If no, wipe off the leaked oil.
Is there minor seal leakage?
If yes, it does not indicate seal replacement.
1 Weekly Vacuum Machine Maintenance
Warning: Proper lubrication is crucial for the machine's operation and service life.
Check for any leaks in the machine.
Enter the current hours of operation.
Is the machine operated in a very dusty location?
If the machine is operated in a very dusty location, frequent oil changing is necessary.
Check the oil level in the oil sumps.
During the first week of operation, check the oil levels in the oil sumps about once a day.
After the first week, an occasional check should be sufficient.
It is recommended that the oil be changed after initial 100 hours of operation.
Driver Lubrication
Driver lubrication practices should be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
If direct connected to the blower through a lubricated type coupling, the coupling should be checked and greased each time blower oil is changed.
This will help reduce wear and prevent unnecessary vibration.
In a belted drive system, check belt tension periodically and inspect for frayed or cracked belts.
