Loosen the belt adjustment bolts in the rear end caps.

Lift the belt and apply the lubricant to the center of the deck.

Center and re-tension the belt using the directions above.

Walk on the treadmill for 60 seconds to spread the lubricant evenly through the belt and deck.

Vacuum dust or dirt under and around the treadmill

Vacuum under the straddle covers

Check for proper running belt alignment and tension

Describe any adjustments made to the running belt alignment or tension

Ensure no acidic cleaners are used

Record distance from the console

Check running belt tension and tracking

Check drive belt tension and tracking

Remove motor cover and vacuum debris

Ensure no acidic cleaners are used

Avoid pouring water or spraying liquids on any part of the treadmill

Allow the treadmill to dry completely before using

Frequently vacuum the floor underneath the treadmill

Unplug the treadmill from its power source

Check for worn, frayed or missing safety lanyards

Is the safety clip attached to your clothing during exercise?

Does the treadmill need service?

Turn off the treadmill and unplug the power cord if service is needed
