Is the red error LED lit on the front panel?

Is the specific error message displayed in the Status Monitor?

Perform a manual cut by pressing and holding the cut key for approximately one second if media is exiting the front of the printer.

Use scissors to cut the media at the entry point on the back of the printer.

Lift the roller handle to open the input pinch rollers.

Wear protective gloves to prevent ink from staining your hands.

Ensure the maintenance cartridge is kept out of reach of children.

Turn the power inlet switch off on the rear of the printer.

Carefully slide the maintenance cartridge out of the printer and place it on a flat surface.

Dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with water

Gently clean the plastic exterior surfaces using the cloth

Use anti-static electronic equipment cleaner if needed

Ensure no print job is in progress

Is the QL-800 Maintenance Utility installed?

Navigate to All Programs > QuickLabel QL-800 > QL-800 Maintenance Utility

Select display language and printer

Confirm selection by clicking OK

Launch the QL-800 Maintenance Utility

Navigate to All Programs > QuickLabel QL-800 > QL-800 Maintenance Utility

Select display language and QL-800 printer

Confirm selection by choosing OK

Choose the Parts Replacement tab

Select Maintenance Roller and choose Start
