Condensing Unit Start-Up Check
IMPORTANT START-UP NOTE
Confirm that a qualified refrigeration mechanic is present for the start-up
Check that all electrical and refrigeration connections are tight
Enter the compressor crankcase oil level (if equipped with sight glass)
Are compressor shipping spacers or hold down nuts properly in place?
Check that the compressor discharge and suction shut-off valves are open
Ensure all pressure controls and safety controls are adjusted properly
Is the room thermostat set for normal operation?

Convert the suction pressure to saturated evaporator temperature using a Pressure-Temperature chart and enter the value
Superheat Calculation
Calculate and enter the actual superheat at the evaporator by subtracting the saturated temperature from the actual suction line temperature

Is the suction superheat within the range of 20 to 45 °F (11.2 to 25.2 °C)?
