Operate the tang operators manually and check for any abnormalities

Drain contents of the rupture disk and purge discharge vent-line drip-leg into an evacuated waste container

Do this more often if the purge is operated excessively

Apply oil to any exposed metal parts to prevent rust

Sign off on the chiller maintenance

Contact a qualified service organization to determine when to conduct a complete examination of the unit to discern the condition of the compressor and internal components

Check for evaporator water tube leaks

Check for condenser water tube leaks

Sign off on the yearly chiller maintenance

Check inlet guide vanes (IGV) for abnormalities

Sign off on the compressor/motor inspection

Inspect for fouling and scaling in tubes

Check operation of condenser water flow sensing device

Factory recommendation to eddy current test tubes every three years

Sign off on the condenser inspection

Inlet guide vane linkage checked?

Painted surfaces cleaned and touched-up as needed?

Deteriorated, torn, or missing insulation repaired?
