Enter the reading of the evaporator refrigerant temperature sensor (4R10)

Is the sensor reading within the normal operating range (0°F to 90°F [-17.8°C to 32.2°C])?

Are the condenser tubes fouled?

If fouled, clean the condenser tubes

Are the ifm efector® flow detection sensors clean?

If not clean, use Scotch-Brite® or other non-abrasive material to clean scale; do NOT use steel wool, which could cause the probe to rust

Upload the comprehensive analysis report of the compressor oil from a Trane-qualified laboratory

Contact a qualified service organization to determine when to conduct a complete examination of the unit to discern the condition of the compressor and internal components

Check for evaporator water tube leaks

Check for condenser water tube leaks

Sign off on the yearly chiller maintenance

- Shut down the chiller once each year to check the items of Evaporator

1. Inspect for fouling and scaling in tubes

2. Check operation of evaporator water flow sensing device

3. Factory recommendation to eddy current test tubes every three years;

Shut down the chiller once each year to check the items of Optional Accessories

If applicable, lubricate factory-installed gantries

After the first month of operation, inspect Heresite® or Belzona® coated waterboxes; thereafter, inspect as needed

Inspect and lubricate hinged waterboxes

With water flow sensing option, bleed tubing from waterboxes to transformers

Sign off on the yearly optional accessories maintenance
