- Lubricate the gantries annually

1. Use ConocoPhillips Gantries MegaPlex® XD3 (gray in color), LPS® MultiPlex Multi-Purpose (blue in color), or equivalent

- Lubricate the hinges annually

1. Use ConocoPhillips MegaPlex® XD3 (gray in color), LPS® MultiPlex Multi- Purpose (blue in color), or equivalent;

- Contact a qualified service organization to determine when to conduct a complete examination of the unit to discern the condition of the compressor and internal components

1. Check the following: chronic air leaks (which can cause acidic conditions in the compressor oil and result in premature bearing wear) 2. Check evaporator water tube leaks (water mixed with the compressor oil can result in bearing pitting, corrosion, or excessive wear)

3. Check condenser water tube leaks (water mixed with the compressor oil can result in bearing pitting, corrosion, or excessive wear);

- Lubricate the vane control linkage bearings, ball joints, and pivot points

- Lubricate vane operator tang O- rings

- Lubricate the oil filter shutoff valve O-rings;

1. Since the evaporator is typically part of a closed circuit, it may not accumulate appreciable amounts of scale or sludge

2. Normally, cleaning every three years is sufficient

3. However, periodic inspection and cleaning is recommended on open evaporator systems, such as air washers;

Shut down the chiller once each year to check the items of Starter or Adaptive FrequencyTM Drive

Check all connections per manufacturer specifications

Follow all manufacturer recommendations for starter or Adaptive FrequencyTM Drive (AFD) maintenance

Inspect/clean/service the AFD cooling system (water- or air-cooled AFD)

Record all applicable starter or starter component settings

Sign off on the yearly inspection
