- Trane recommends that coated waterboxes/tubesheets

- regardless of the type of protective coating included

- be taken out of service within the first one to three months of operation for inspection

1. Any voids or defects identified upon inspection must be repaired

2. If the water quality is known to be highly supportive of corrosion (i.e., sea water, etc.), inspect the coating system at one month

3. if the water quality is known to be relatively benign (i.e., normal treated and clean condenser water), inspect the coating system within three months

4. Only when initial inspections show no problems are present should subsequent maintenance intervals be increased;

- Lubricate the gantries annually

1. Use ConocoPhillips Gantries MegaPlex® XD3 (gray in color), LPS® MultiPlex Multi-Purpose (blue in color), or equivalent

- Lubricate the hinges annually

1. Use ConocoPhillips MegaPlex® XD3 (gray in color), LPS® MultiPlex Multi- Purpose (blue in color), or equivalent;

- Clean all water strainers in the water piping system

- Inspect waterbox coatings within the first 1–3 months to determine a required maintenance schedule for your job site

- Inspect waterbox anodes within the first 1–3 months to determine a required maintenance schedule for your job site;

- Shut down the chiller once each year to check the items of Control Circuits

2. Test appropriate sensors for accuracy

3. Ensure sensors are properly seated in wells with thermopaste installed

4. Check evaporator leaving water temperature low temperature cutout setpoint

5. Condenser high pressure switch check-out

6. Check adjustment and operation of the inlet guide vane actuator;

- Shut down the chiller once each year to check the items of Starter or Adaptive FrequencyTM Drive

2. Check all connections per manufacturer specifications

3. Follow all manufacturer recommendations for starter or Adaptive FrequencyTM Drive (AFD) maintenance

4. Inspect/clean/service the AFD cooling system (water- or air-cooled AFD)

5. Record all applicable starter or starter component settings;
