Shut down and unplug the autosampler

Wipe the sample tray, autosampler cabinet, and autosampler arm with a towel dampened with a laboratory-grade cleaning liquid

Wipe again with a towel dampened with clear water

Dry the sample tray, autosampler cabinet, and autosampler arm with a dry towel

Ensure no liquid entered the instrument cabinet or contacted electrical components

Wipe loose particles off the Y-Axis lead screw with a dry, lint-free cloth

Wipe the autosampler exterior and base with a towel dampened with laboratory-grade cleaning liquid

Wipe the autosampler exterior and base with a towel dampened with clear water

Pay special attention to the Y-axis slider block and guide rails

Did you need to cut the old tubing to remove it?

Push the new tubing onto the fittings

Inspection for Leaks and Deterioration

Visually inspect the following parts for leaks or signs of deterioration

Did you detect any leaks or damage to an autosampler part?

Replace any damaged or leaking parts

Shut down and unplug the autosampler

Move the autosampler arm 20 to 30 centimeters away from the home position

Disconnect the rinse agent uptake and drain tubing

Apply only a linear force when removing the tubing to prevent fittings from breaking

Rotate the rinse station tube counterclockwise ¼ turn
