Packaging System Check

CAUTION: SAFETY GLASSES AND PROTECTIVE GLOVES (BUTYL RUBBER, NITRILE RUBBER, POLYVINYL ALCOHOL, OR OTHER SUITABLE MATERIAL) MUST BE WORN WHILE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE.

Check hoses for damage (Before turning on system)

Check system for loose parts (Before turning on system)

Sign off on the packaging system check

Holster Maintenance

Warning: Follow the safety guidelines while performing the maintenance

Enter the current level of the Instapak® Dispenser Solution

Is the level of the Instapak® Dispenser Solution 6 mm below the top of the wire bristles?

If the level is below 6 mm, refill the dispenser holster

Are the wire bristles worn or bent?

If the bristles are worn or bent, replace the wire bristle brush (Part Number 3476AB-01)

Enter the residual amount of Instapak® Dispenser Solution

Follow the disposal procedures outlined in the 'Recommendations for the Safe Use and Handling of Instapak Foam-in-Place Chemicals' bulletin for residual amount of Instapak® Dispenser Solution

Sign off on the holster maintenance

Cartridge and Dispenser Maintenance

CAUTION: SAFETY GLASSES AND PROTECTIVE GLOVES (BUTYL RUBBER, NITRILE RUBBER, POLYVINYL ALCOHOL, OR OTHER SUITABLE MATERIAL) MUST BE WORN WHILE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE.

Turn the console 'OFF'

Turn each dispenser component valve to the 'OFF' position to stop component flow to the cartridge

Loosen the top clamp retaining screws with the Y-handle wrench

Open the top clamp

Remove the cartridge from the dispenser manifold

Place the cartridge in the cartridge opening tool

Turn the handle until it stops

Remove the cartridge from the tool

Run this procedure

Chemical Drum Replacement

CAUTION: SAFETY GLASSES AND PROTECTIVE GLOVES (BUTYL RUBBER, NITRILE RUBBER, POLYVINYL ALCOHOL, OR OTHER SUITABLE MATERIAL) MUST BE WORN WHILE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE.

Is the chemical container empty?

Turn the console power switch to 'OFF'.

CAUTION: DO NOT TURN THE PUMP UPSIDE DOWN. CHEMICAL CAN LEAK INTO THE PUMP MOTOR, CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE.

Place a full chemical drum next to the empty drum.

Open the new drum.

Remove the pump from the empty drum.

Is the filter on the bottom of the pump clean?

Flush the filter with Instapak® Port Cleaner.
