Use a clean cloth dampened with mild, soapy water to clean the surface.

Alternatively, use a household product with spray application for cleaning.

Recommended Infection Control Products

Select the disinfectant/cleaner product used

Follow manufacturer’s directions for concentration and application of disinfecting material.

Ensure no prolonged application of disinfectant/cleaner products to avoid staining.

Loosen the black hand wheel (Item 2, Figure 1)

Move the back rest to the desired vertical position

Loosen the thumb screw (Item 5, Figure 1)

Move the support bar (Item 3) to the desired horizontal position

Tighten the thumb screw securely

Assemble Adjustable Tilting Backrest

Place the support bar into the back plate and secure with the thumb screw

Position the backrest using Figure 5 or 6 as reference

Ensure the threaded stud is placed through the slot in the support bar with the chrome acorn nut visible from the top

Screw the handwheel onto the threaded stud to secure the backrest position

Insert stop screw into threaded hole in end of support bar after inserting support bar into back support

Loosen the lock handle (Item 4)

Remove the two support rod screws (Item 2)

Select the desired height position (1 to 5)

Insert the screws in the nearest pair of threaded holes

Test cleaning agents in an inconspicuous spot for potential damage

Remove dirt and smudges with mild soap and warm water solution

Dry with a soft, lint-free cloth or towel

Use stronger detergent for difficult stains, following manufacturer's instructions

Use a 1:9 solution of bleach and water to disinfect
