Dampen a clean cloth with mild, soapy water or equivalent household product

Clean the painted metal surfaces with the dampened cloth

Select the disinfectant/cleaner product used

Did you follow the manufacturer's directions for concentration and application?

Was the application of disinfectant/cleaner product prolonged?

Inspect for any staining on the upholstery material

Support body weight from the floor

Raise the release ring located under the seat

Allow the seat to rise to the desired position

Release the ring to lock the seat in position

Ensure the stool remains clear of any furniture or equipment

Allow the seat to descend under body weight

Loosen the lock handle (Item 4)

Remove the two support rod screws (Item 2)

Select the desired height position (1 to 5)

Insert the screws in the nearest pair of threaded holes

Loosen jam nuts (Item 1) using an 11/32 wrench

Adjust setscrews (Item 3) so that the lever (Item 2) barely touches the ball

Use a 5/64 Allen wrench to maintain adjustment of the set screw during tightening

Loosen the black hand wheel (Item 2, Figure 1)

Move the back rest to the desired vertical position

Loosen the thumb screw (Item 5, Figure 1)

Move the support bar (Item 3) to the desired horizontal position

Tighten the thumb screw securely
