Gas Fryer Cleaning
Preparation
Ensure all necessary cleaning materials are available
Initial Cleaning
Fill the tank with water and add one packet of Pitco fryer cleaner or a mild detergent
Turn gas valve knob to ON position

Ensure the power switch is turned to the OFF position before emptying oil from the fryer.

Slide the filter pan out.
Remove filtered residue off the filter media carefully.
Examine the filter media for clogged or torn areas.

Reinstall the pan.

Unscrew the pickup tube from the filter rack and slide the filter rack out
