Check the crimp bowl for signs of wear

Clean the crimp bowl of old grease

Re-grease the crimp bowl after cleaning

Apply approved grease to the dies and crimp bowl each time the dies are changed

Apply grease twice a day if dies are not changed through a day's operation

Sign off on the crimp bowl check

Enter the machine's hour meter reading

Hydraulic oil level is adequate?

If oil level is low, add Citgo AW46 or equivalent

Enter the machine's temperature

If temperature rises to 140°F, turn off machine and let cool to 120°F

Did you drain and refill the reservoir after 1000 hours of operation?

Sign off on the hydraulic check
