Gearmotor Replacement
Power supply to the machine turned off
Gun supporting-arm removed
Rear door removed and trolley lifted
ATTENTION: To make the work easier and for safety reasons, it is better that the following operations are carried out by two operators.
Nuts A of the rod and upper screws B slackened and belt removed from the pulley
Suitable eyebolts placed into the holes on top of the reciprocator
Reciprocator lied down to the ground using a forklift truck
Spacers placed at the top of the column
Encoder shaft loosened and encoder removed
Belt Replacement
ATTENTION: to perform this maintenance two persons are necessary.
Power supply to the machine turned off
Gun supporting-arm removed
Rear door removed
Main panel removed by unscrewing the screws that fix it to the main structure
Gun supporting-arm positioned and blocked so as the counterweight is in line with the opening
Two+two nuts A of the rod and the two upper screws B unscrewed to slacken the belt and remove it from the pulley
All the counterweight plates removed as per Chapter 12.8
Belt marked (up and down) to locate the assembly position
Trolley Sliding Blocks Replacement
Warning: Ensure the trolley is in a useful position to operate.
Is the counterweight stroke blocked with a staff to avoid its fall?
Have the eccentric pivots been rotated till the blocks unloosen?
Has the eccentric hub been turned with a suitable wrench to increase the play between the rollers and the guide?
Have the hubs been removed from the trolley, removing one sliding block at a time?
ATTENTION: If the counterweight is not blocked by an iron staff, it will slide up to the lower end of stroke and consequently the trolley will be lift up to the upper limit switch.
Has the new sliding block with hub been assembled, screwing it to the rear plate?
Have the reverse operations for the reassembling been done?
See Chapter 12.6 to adjust the sliding blocks.
Counterweight Adjustment
Power supply to the machine turned off
Rear door removed
Trolley moved so that the counterweight reaches the opening
ATTENTION: to make the work easier and for safety reasons, it is better that the following operations are carried out by two operators.
Plates of the counterweight added or removed to balance the machine
Rear door assembled
Sign off on the counterweight adjustment
Belt Tension Adjustment
Warning: Ensure the power supply to the machine is turned off before starting the procedure.
Power supply to the machine turned off
Rear door removed and trolley moved so that the counterweight slides up/down to reach the opening
Two+two nuts A of the rod and the two upper screws B unscrewed to tension or slacken the belt
Refer to the table for correct belt tension values
Parallelism between the upper and the lower counterweight plates checked
Rear door assembled
Sign off on the belt tension adjustment
