1500 Hours / 6 Monthly Hoses Maintenance
CAUTION: Switch off the power before checking hoses on moving units for damage. Otherwise, you may sustain serious or fatal injury
Main power disconnect placed to the 'OFF' position
Hoses at the rear of the machine checked for damage
Hoses checked for damage such as cracks, abnormal bulge, and deterioration
Any damage found?
If any damage is found, describe it
Sign off on the hoses maintenance
1 Daily Machine Oil Check
Check the hydraulic oil level
Check the spindle cooling fluid level
Check the centralized lubricating oil level
Check the coolant level
Sign off on the daily machine oil check
1 Daily Machine Maintenance
CAUTION: Switch off the power before cleaning inside the machine
Remove accumulated chips (including chips within the magazine)
Clear the inside of the machine, particularly those parts indicated below, of accumulated chips, dirt and dust
Clean the window in the operator’s door
Inspect and clean Around the ATC cover, Over the Y-axis slideway cover, Table and its periphery
CAUTION: If coolant, oil or other fluid gets spilled on the floor, wipe it off with a cloth and dry the floor immediately. If the floor remains wet with spilled fluid, personnel could slip over and be injured
CAUTION: Do not touch chips with bare hands, otherwise you could be injured
Dispose of chips accumulated in the chip bucket several times a day according to the machine operating conditions
Clean the plate filters in the coolant tank
Initial Machine Maintenance
Warning: Switch off the power before starting the procedure
Rust preventive oil wiped off
Amount of coolant replenished to the coolant tank
Usual inspection before starting the operation performed
Machine, piping and hoses of the hydraulic unit, blocks, and cylinders inspected for oil leaks
Switch on the power
Machine run for approximately three hours using the warm-up program (PNO. 1000)
Machine inspected for generation of abnormal noise and vibration, and also for abnormal temperature rise at the motors and bearings
Corrective action taken if any abnormality is found
Stopped Machine Maintenance
Warning: Switch off the power before applying rust preventive oil
Rust preventive oil applied to Linear guide rails (X-, Y-, Z-axis)?
Rust preventive oil applied to Ball screws (X-, Y-, Z-axis)?
Rust preventive oil applied to Slideway covers (X-, Y-axis)?
Rust preventive oil applied to Table?
Rust preventive oil applied to ATC magazine?
Rust preventive oil applied to Spindle?
Coolant discharged from the coolant tank?
Coolant tank cleaned both inside and outside?
