Check all settings on the Setup Screen

Check settings of external limit controls (if any)

Adjust external limit control settings if necessary

Verify all system components are correctly installed and operational

Enter the cold fill pressure for the system

Is the cold fill pressure correct?

Monitor the system pressure as the boiler heats up

Inspect automatic air vents and air separators

Remove air vent caps and briefly press push valve to flush vent

Low Water Cutoff Test and Reset

Reset button (low water cutoff)

Piping Inspection and Leak Check

Inspect all water and gas piping and verify to be leak free

Are there any signs of leaking lines?

Describe any problems found with leaking lines

Correct any problems found with leaking lines

Gas Line and Relief Valve Check

Follow the 'To Turn Off Gas to Appliance' instructions

Is the boiler exposed to freezing temperatures?

Allow boiler to cool to room temperature

Remove the top access panel to access the gas/air manifold assembly

Remove the nuts securing the burner to the burner mounting plate and remove the burner

Remove the nuts securing the burner mounting plate from the heat exchanger and set aside the entire burner mounting plate assembly

Verify that boiler area is free of any combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids

Verify that air intake area is free of any contaminants

If contaminants are present, have they been removed?

If contaminants cannot be removed, have the air and vent lines been reinstalled per the manual?

Check pressure/temperature gauge

Enter the current pressure reading on the gauge

Enter the current temperature reading on the gauge

Is the pressure within the normal operating range?
