Connect the resistive load bank and test voltmeter to the welding output terminals

Put dipswitch 1 in the on position

Rotate the Hot Start knob and Arc Control knob to the minimum

Clean interior of machine with a low pressure air stream

Make a thorough inspection of all components

Look for signs of overheating, broken leads or other obvious problems. Many problems can be uncovered with a good visual inspection

Sign off on the visual inverter inspection

Completely de-energize machine and verify that no residual charge is present on capacitors, etc

Remove case sides to expose input cord connection to input EMI Filter

Remove 2 fasteners holding filter bracket to case bottom

Remove EMI Filter Bracket holding EMI Filter to expose ground connection to case bottom
