100 Hourly/1 Yearly Maintenance
Cleaning Air Cleaner Primary Element
Remove the air cleaner cover and primary element
Clean the primary element
Condition of the primary element
If carbon or oil adheres to the element, replace the element with new one even if it has not been used for 1 year.
Replace the primary element: Once yearly or after every sixth cleaning, whichever comes first.
Check to see if the evacuator valve is blocked with dust.
Check the rubber seal. Replace if damaged.

Warning: Stop the engine and remove the key before attempting to make the following checks and changes.
Warning: Fuel lines are subject to wear and aging. Fuel may leak out onto the running engine, causing a fire.

Fuel line and clamps checked for damage or deterioration
Fuel filter checked for clogging or contamination
IMPORTANT: When the fuel line is disconnected for maintenance or repair, close both ends of the fuel line with a piece of clean cloth or paper to prevent dust and dirt from entering.

Adjusting Alternator Belt Tension
Vehicle parked on a flat surface
Seat opened, utility box and maintenance cover removed
Engine stopped and seat rear opened in 2 row (cargo bed raised in 1 row and engine stopped)
Rear cover removed
Moderate thumb pressure applied to the middle of the belt span between the fan drive pulley and alternator pulley
Is tension correct?
If tension is incorrect, follow the steps below
Battery removed
100 Hourly Maintenance
Adjusting Toe-in
Proper toe-in – 5 to 15 mm / 0.2 to 0.59 in.
Park vehicle on a flat place.
Turn steering wheel so front wheels are in the straight ahead position.
Lock the park brake and stop the engine.
Measure distance between tire beads at front of tire, at hub height.
Measure distance between tire beads at rear of tire, at hub height.
Front distance should be shorter than rear distance.
If not, adjust tie rod length.

Checking Wheel Fastener Torque
Check if wheel bolts are loose
Enter the torque of aluminum wheel mounting bolt in N·m
Enter the torque of steel wheel mounting bolt and nut in N·m
Sign off on the 100 hourly maintenance
