Warning: This maintenance check requires trained personnel with PPE!

If brake fluid is not refilled, report the issues to the maintenance team and stop the procedure

Inspect shocks and struts for leaks

Warm the oil by running the engine

Place a drain pan under the engine drain plug hole and oil filter drain hole in frame

Remove oil fill cap from filler opening

Remove drain plug and drain oil into an oil drain pan. Allow oil to drain completely

Remove and discard oil filter on the front of the engine. Wipe off filter base on engine

Put a light coat of clean engine oil on gasket of the new oil filter

Check HVAC filter - if equipped

Check air cleaner dust unloading valve

Check HVAC dust unloading valve - if equipped

Inspect and clean primary and secondary clutch

Check compressor idler bearing - if equipped

Inspect suspension bushings for play

See your John Deere dealer for suspension bushings inspection service

Inspect wheel bearings for play

See your John Deere dealer for wheel bearings inspection service

Inspect timing belt idler/bearing

Sign off on the 400 Hourly / 24 Monthly Maintenance

Check brake fluid level, lines and connections.

Check 4WD front differential oil level.

Inspect driveline CV boots for tears or punctures.

Inspect park brake for proper function. (See your John Deere dealer for any adjustments needed.)

Grease cargo box tailgate strikers.

Sign off on the 50 Hourly / Yearly Maintenance
