The first oil change must be made after 50 hours of winch operation. Thereafter, if the winch is used at a normal frequency replace the oil in the reducer assembly once every two years;

Lubricate components supplied by grease fittings

Lubricate all grease fittings monthly with 2 or 3 pumps from a grease gun, or more frequently, depending on severity of service. Rotate components slowly as grease is applied

If the winch is disassembled, clean all parts thoroughly and coat bearings and shafts with clean grease. Use sufficient grease to provide a good protective coat;
