1 Monthly Compressor Oil Cooler and Engine Radiator Air Charge Cooler
Warning: Hot engine coolant and steam can cause injury. Follow the instructions provided by the antifreeze supplier when adding or draining the antifreeze solution. It is advisable to wear personal protective equipment to prevent skin and eye contact with the antifreeze solution.
Oil cooler and radiator cleaned with compressed air and non-flammable cleaning solvent
Accumulation of oil, grease and dirt removed from the exterior core of the cooler
Engine stopped at least one minute prior to releasing the radiator filler cap
Filler cap released slowly, absorbing any released fluid with a cloth
Filler cap not removed until all excess fluid is released and the engine cooling system fully depressurised
Sign off on the monthly compressor oil cooler and engine radiator air charge cooler inspection
12 Monthly / 2000 Hourly Mobile Compressor Maintenance
* Every 1500 Hours Injection Nozzle Check
• Check Wheels (Bearings, Seals, etc.)
• Replace Engine Coolant
• Test Shutdown Switch Settings
• Check Scavenger Orifice & Related Parts
• Replace Oil Separator Element
• Clean Feed Pump Strainer
• Valve Clearance Check
• CheckEngine breather element
6 Monthly / 1000 Hourly Scavenge Line Inspection
Warning: This inspection requires trained personnel with PPE!
Scavenge line runs from the combined orifice/drop tube in the separator tank to the orifice fitting located in the airend?
Orifice, check valve and hoses examined at every service or in the event of oil carryover into the discharge air?
Scavenge line and tube are clear of any obstruction each time the compressor lubricant is changed?
Sign off on the scavenge line inspection
Speed and Pressure Regulation Adjustment
Warning: This procedure requires trained personnel only!
Unit stopped and ballast spring 'A' disconnected from the butterfly lever
Two screws securing bracket 'C' to main bracket 'J' loosened
Screw 'D' loosened and butterfly valve pivot shaft 'K' rotated fully clockwise until the valve is closed
Lever 'L' positioned approximately 10° after vertical and screw 'D' tightened
Butterfly lever kept in the closed position and air cylinder fully contracted
Screws holding bracket 'C' to the main bracket 'J' tightened
Cylinder returned to its extended position and ballast spring 'A' reconnected
IMPORTANT: Ensure all components are aligned and move freely.
