Warning: Hot engine coolant and steam can cause injury. Follow the instructions provided by the antifreeze supplier when adding or draining the antifreeze solution. It is advisable to wear personal protective equipment to prevent skin and eye contact with the antifreeze solution.

Engine stopped at least one minute prior to releasing the radiator filler cap

Lever 'L' positioned approximately 10° after vertical and screw 'D' tightened

Butterfly lever kept in the closed position and air cylinder fully contracted

Screws holding bracket 'C' to the main bracket 'J' tightened

Cylinder returned to its extended position and ballast spring 'A' reconnected
