Inlet Water Valve and Drain Valve

Close the water supply line shut-off valve

Clean the inlet water valve screen

Clean and inspect the drain valve

Clean or replace water hoses if necessary

Check the pressure of the external water filters

Is the pressure within the normal range?

Change the water filters if necessary

Wipe down the icemaker exterior with a clean, soft cloth

Use a damp cloth with a neutral cleaner to remove oil or dirt build-up

Clean chlorine staining using a non-abrasive cleanser

Infrared Sensor Lens, Underside of Icemaker and Top Kits; Bin Door and Snout

Wear liquid-proof gloves and goggles

Ensure no ammonia type cleaners are used

Close the icemaker water supply line shut-off valve

Turn off the power supply and remove the front panel

Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position and move the control switch to the 'DRAIN' position

Replace the front panel in its correct position

Turn on the power supply to allow the water system to drain completely

Icemaker and Dispenser Unit/Ice Storage Bin Maintenance

Clean and sanitize the icemaker and dispenser unit/ice storage bin as per the manual instructions.

Evaporator Condensate Drain Pan and Gear Motor Drain Pan Maintenance

Wipe down the evaporator condensate drain pan and gear motor drain pan with a clean cloth and warm water.

Pour one cup of sanitizing solution into the evaporator condensate drain pan.

Pour one cup of sanitizing solution into the gear motor drain pan.

Pour one cup of clean water into the evaporator condensate drain pan to rinse.

Pour one cup of clean water into the gear motor drain pan to rinse.

Icemaker and Dispenser Unit/Ice Storage Bin Drains Check

Remove the screw from the front panel

Lift the front panel up and towards you

Lift the front of the top panel slightly

Remove the screw from the side panels
