- Service Air Filter/Regulator Assembly Filter

- Tape Torn Outer Covering Or Replace Cable

Remove shield cup. Check cup for cracks, and replace if necessary

Check O-ring for cracks or worn spots, re- place shield cup if necessary

Remove tip. Check tip, and replace if open- ing is deformed or 50% oversize; If inside of tip is not clean and bright, clean with steel wool. Be sure to remove any pieces of steel wool afterwards

- Check Torch Tip, Electrode, And Shield Cup

If certain problems occur, the Ready light goes off, a trouble light comes on, and output stops

Lights if gas/air pressure is below 40 PSI (276 kPa). Turn power Off, and check for proper gas/air pressure (see Section 3-1)

A flashing Pressure light indicates that gas/air system may be set too low, faulty, leaking or has a flow restriction (see Section 4-5)

Turn power Off, and check shield cup connection (see torch Owner’s Manual). Power must be reset whenever the cup shutdown is activated

A flashing Cup light indicates that the torch consumables are stuck or worn and should be inspected and/ or replaced (see Section 4-4)

Check shield cup shutdown system once a week
