Remove dust buildup on motor housing

Is lubrication applicable for this motor?

Adjust and tighten belt as necessary

Belt Inspection and Replacement

Check belts for wear and tightness

Are matched belts used on units with multi-groove pulleys?

Loosen the tensioning device for belt removal

Was the belt removed by hand without forcing?

Adjust belts as shown in 'Pre-Start-Up Checks'

Are special bearings equipped for hot, humid, or dirty locations?

Are grease fittings provided on the motor?

Is the motor temperature below 104°F (40°C)?

Replace grease in motors with fittings according to manufacturer's recommendations.

Was the motor running time verified to be 2000 hours?

Ensure no excess grease is left on the motor exterior.
