Perform Pressure Relief Procedure

Remove fluid intake and drain tube from paint, wipe excess paint off outside

Place fluid intake in flushing fluid. Use water for water base paint and mineral spirits for oil-based paint. Place drain tube in waste pail

To flush drain tube and pump turn prime valve down

Turn pressure control to Fast Flush operate until the pump runs steady and flushing fluid appears in the waste pail

To flush airless hose and spray gun, turn prime valve horizontal

Hold gun against waste pail. Disengage trigger lock. Trigger gun and turn pressure control to Fast Flush operate until the pump runs steady and flushing fluid appears

Inspect/clean fluid inlet strainer

Inspect motor shield vents for blockage

Fill TSL by adding through TSL fill point

Sign off on the daily sprayer inspection

Activity: Throat packing adjustment

Interval: As necessary based on usage

Does the pump packing leak after extended use?

If yes, tighten packing nut down until leakage stops or lessens

Enter the number of gallons of operation before a repacking is required

Was the packing nut tightened without 0-ring removal?

Sign off on the sprayer throat packing adjustment

Sprayer motor stalls when gun is not triggered

Does sprayer restart with gun not triggered?

If sprayer restarts with gun not triggered, proceed with the following checks

Inspect pump for internal leaks

Inspect pump for external leaks
