Check set screws for looseness on the shaft

Tighten loose set screws where required

Refer to Table I for Bearing Setscrew Torques by shaft diameter and bearing manufacturer

Ensure all controls are cleaned and recalibrated

Check for proper operation of all controls

Identify and repair or replace any faulty controls

Replace blown fuses with equivalent size and type fuse

Check set screws on fan wheel, fan bearings, fan and motor pulleys for looseness on the shaft

Tighten set screws where required

Ensure not to overtighten set screws to avoid bearing damage

Dodge SC 203-215 series torques by shaft diameter

Refer to bearing manufacturers’ literature for all other types of bearings

Verify the location of filters on the air inlet of VFD enclosures

Determine the filter-changing interval based on

Specify the scheduled interval for filter change (in months)

Refer to motor manufacturer for lubrication recommendations

Remove grease drain plugs and operate motor for 15 minutes before replacing plugs

Ensure not to over grease the motor

Recommended Motor Lubrication Intervals for motors 10-40 HP (7.5-29.8 kW)

Check if motors run in severe conditions and grease as specified by the motor manufacturer
