Disconnect the power source before removing the cover

Wait for 20 minutes for discharge of storage capacitance

Current Channel and Ammeter Calibration

Connect a short across the output terminals of the power supply

Connect a millivoltmeter across the current shunt sense terminals observing correct polarity

Turn the Voltage control clockwise and the Current control completely counterclockwise

Adjust R47 (or R77 if unit is a 5KW) until the voltage across shunt starts to increase

Disconnect the power source before removing the cover

Wait for 20 minutes for discharge of storage capacitance

Voltage Channel and Voltmeter Calibration

Disconnect any load from output of the power supply

Connect a digital voltmeter across output terminals

Apply input power and turn the circuit breaker on

Does the front panel voltmeter agree within 2%?

Disconnect the power source before removing the cover

Wait for 20 minutes to allow discharge of storage capacitance

Ensure the following equipment is available

Ensure power is removed before zero adjustment

Perform zero adjust on voltage and current front panel analog meters

Is the zero adjustment complete for analog meters?

Ensure power source is disconnected

Wait 20 minutes for discharge of storage capacitance

Clean exterior with a clean dry cloth

Remove screws from all sides of cover and remove cover

Check for loose wires, burn marks, etc.

Remove dust from parts (fans) with a small, long bristled brush or use an air blower
